Former Thai Princess Induratana has died at the age of 103.

Induratana died in Bangkok on 5 January 2026.

She was the longest-surviving member of the Chakri dynasty and the last surviving member of the House of Paribatra. She was a cousin of Thailand’s reigning King Rama X.

Princess Induratana was born on 2 February 1922 in Bangkok in what was then Siam. She was the ninth child of Prince Paribatra and his second wife, Sombandh. She was the granddaughter of King Chulalongkorn and niece of Kings Rama VI and Rama VII.

She gave up her royal titles upon marriage to Somwang Sarasas on 4 February 1953. Together, they had three children before they divorced.
