With the birth of Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa’s first child, we look at the Jordanian line of succession.
Jordan only allows men to inherit the throne and no females are in the line of succession. As such, the newborn Princess Iman is not in the line of succession.
The baby’s aunts, Princesses Iman and Salma, are also not in the line of succession.
The current line of succession to succeed King Abdullah II is as follows:
- Crown Prince Hussein (eldest son of the King)
- Prince Hashem (second son of the King)
- Prince Faisal (brother of the King)
- Prince Omar (nephew of the King)
