Crown Prince Al Hussein of Jordan has marked the end of his service as deputy commander with the 101st Special Battalion, a unit of the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces.
The battalion personnel of the 101st Special Battalion held a special ceremony for the Crown Prince.
The Crown Prince met with the battalion personnel and expressed his deep gratitude for his service with the unit, mentioning their experiences and the strong bonds of military camaraderie.

The commander of the battalion commended Crown Prince Al Hussein’s contribution and highlighted the importance of his drive to advance the military’s capabilities by using modern technology.
Crown Prince Al Hussein earned his Special Forces qualification following a rigorous course of specialised training modules. His father, King Abdullah II, presented him with the Special Forces sword patch in November 2025.
The Crown Prince will continue his military service in the Royal Jordanian Air Force.
