Following tradition, the Swedish Royal Family attended events surrounding the Nobel Prizes in Stockholm.

King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine, and Chris O’Neill attended the Nobel Prize ceremony and subsequent banquet.

The prizes were awarded at Stockholm Concert Hall by King Carl XVI Gustaf with Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel behind him on stage.

The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado for promoting rights for Venezuelans. She received her award at the annual ceremony in Oslo.

Nobel Day is a time for the royal ladies to don their finest jewels. Queen Silvia wore the Nine-Prong Tiara; Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine were seen in the Baden Fringe Tiara and Aquamarine Kokoshnik Tiara, respectively.

2025 was a year of repeats for the environmentally conscious royals. The Queen repeated her golden Georg et Arend gown from the King’s 2023 Golden Jubilee. Crown Princess Victoria dusted off her mother’s Jacques Zehnder Nobel gown from 1994. Princess Madeleine wore a repeated silver Jenny Packham Osha gown from 2023.
