Queen Letizia watches FC Barcelona win Cup of Her Majesty the Queen

Queen Letizia of Spain watched FC Barcelona take home the Cup of Her Majesty the Queen in Zaragoza.

The Queen was on hand at “La Romareda” Stadium to watch the final game between women’s teams FC Barcelona and Real Sociedad de Fútbol in the Cup of Her Majesty the Queen for this season.

During halftime, Queen Letizia was presented with a replica of the Cup from the president of the Football Federation.

Barcelona won the 41st edition of the championship 8-0.

After the game, Her Majesty presented the Cup of Her Majesty the Queen in the box to Barcelona’s captain Alexia Putellas. She also met the captain of Real Sociedad de Fútbol, Nerea Eizagirre, to present the runner-up trophy.

Before leaving, Queen Letizia greeted the public and was seen taking photos with children outside the stadium.
