Two new images of Princess Elisabeth of Belgium have been released to mark her 23rd birthday today.

Princess Elisabeth is the eldest child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians. As the heir to the throne, she holds the title of Duchess of Brabant, and if she ascends the throne as expected, Elisabeth will be Belgium’s first reigning female monarch.

The Duchess of Brabant graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford University in the United Kingdom with a bachelor’s degree in history and politics. She began classes at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government in the autumn of 2024 to study for a master’s degree in public policy.
