Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg has married her fiancé, Nicolas Bagory, in a civil ceremony at Luxembourg City Hall in the presence of their families.

Cameras were not allowed inside to film the ceremony, but the bride and groom and their families could be seen as they walked to and from the Grand Ducal Palace to the City Hall, where the ceremony took place.

Princess Alexandra wore a white suit with a Valentino Cape and a Chanel bag.

Despite the poor weather, the couple went on a walkabout to greet the public before heading back to the Grand Ducal Palace, where they appeared on the balcony.

Princess Alexandra was joined by her parents and all her siblings, and their wives. In the evening, a reception was held in the Grand Ducal Palace.

The couple will marry in a religious ceremony on 29 April at Saint Trophyme Church in Var, France.
