New photos of Prince François to mark his second birthday

New photos of Prince François of Luxembourg have been released to mark his second birthday.

Nine new images were released by the Grand Ducal Court to mark the third in line to the throne’s birthday.

Some of the photos feature the family celebrating the Prince’s birthday with a cake displaying his age.

Young François will move up to second in line to the Luxembourgish throne in October when his grandfather, Grand Duke Henri, abdicates in favour of the tot’s father, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume.

Guillaume has been Regent of Luxembourg since 8 October 2024.

Prince François was born on 27 March 2023 to Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie. He has one older brother, Prince Charles (b. 2020).
