King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands went down to a local community centre in The Hague to speak to friends and family of the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

The King was accompanied by Mayor van Zanen of The Hague. He spoke to members of the large Turkish and Syrian communities in the area. They came to the community centre to find support from each other.

The community centre has around 175 volunteers that usually organise things like workshops. They also work with the local food bank and charity shop.

King Willem-Alexander previously visited the community centre, although this was in digital form.
