The Netherlands Government Information Service, the spokesbody for the Dutch Royal House, has set several house rules for social media users commenting on their posts.

According to a list on the official website, everyone is invited to respond and join the conversation as long as they respect each other’s opinions.

The four house rules include:

  1. Messages with curse words, threats, racism and discrimination can be reported, removed or hidden.
  2. Do not share private data, and do not violate the privacy of others.
  3. Spam messages and advertisements are not allowed.
  4. Users who consistently break or crudely violate these rules can be blocked.
