Two photos have been released ahead of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands’s Christmas speech.

The photos were taken during the recording of the Christmas speech in the White Dininghall at Huis Ten Bosch Palace.
The Christmas speech will be broadcast at 1 p.m. on Christmas Day on the NOS, while NPO2 will also have a sign language interpreter.
