King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark have announced their plans for foreign visits in the spring.

This spring the couple will undertake two state visits to France and Finland. The King will also make a trip to Japan without Queen Mary.

The King and Queen will undertake their first state visit this year to Finland from 4 to 5 March. Their Majesties will visit France from 31 March to 2 April.

King Frederik will travel to Japan from 23 to 25 April to participate in the international world exhibition Expo 2025 in Osaka.

These trips will be the first to Finland and Japan since Frederik ascended the throne upon the abdication of his mother, Queen Margrethe, in 2024.

The Danish Royal House has said more information will be released in due course.
