Queen Margrethe won the Robert Award’s Costume Designer of the Year for her work in the film “Ehrengard – The Art of Seduction.”

The Robert Award is presented annually by the Danish Film Academy (similar to the Oscars in the United States).

The Queen said about winning the prize: “I am deeply grateful, touched and proud of the recognition that the Robert Award represents. Receiving an award that the industry itself awards makes me particularly happy, and it has been a great joy and pleasure to be able to contribute to the expression of the film. I would like to thank the entire team behind the film, but I especially thank all those who have made my ideas, sketches and drawings a reality – not least the talented people who have sewn and worked with the many costumes.”

If you want to watch the film that gave the Queen her prestigious award, we know where to find it.

If you have a Netflix account, you are in luck. The original Danish film has been dubbed into many languages (including English). If you prefer to watch it in Danish and read subtitles, over 30 languages are available.
