The Prince of Wales has surprised the players of the England national team.
Prince William, who is also the President of the Football Association, has revealed the squad numbers of the players along with manager Gareth Southgate. The captain of the team received his No. 9 first in a private event. All players also received a unique presentation box.
The manager said, “It was a great moment to be with the group and with Prince William, who is a great supporter of ours. I know how passionate the players are for their country and it was great to see what it means for each of meant to them when they came forward. As staff and players we are all so privileged to represent England and we are excited to see what is possible together. We want to make the fans proud again.”

Prince William told the players “What you and Gareth have built here is something special, it clearly shows. Play for each other, support each other, enjoy it and I’m sure you’ll go far.”
