With the announcement that Prince Andrew has given up his titles, Sarah, Duchess of York, has also lost hers.

Since her divorce from the Prince in 1996, she has been known as “Sarah, Duchess of York.” However, now that Prince Andrew has relinquished his titles, Sarah has also lost hers.

She will now be known as her maiden name, Sarah Ferguson.

Sarah, who is commonly called by her nickname Fergie, still resides with Andrew at the Royal Lodge as the pair remained close after their divorce.

Andrew will retain the princely title he has had since birth.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will also remain princesses as they are grandchildren of a sovereign born in the male line.
