New photo released to mark King Albert and Queen Paola’s 65th wedding anniversary

A new photo of King Albert and Queen Paola of Belgium has been released for their 65th wedding anniversary.

The image was taken at the couple’s holiday home in Châteauneuf-Grasse in France, where they celebrated their anniversary last weekend.

Albert and Paola married on 2 July 1959 at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula in Brussels.

They have three children: King Philippe, Princess Astrid and Prince Laurent.

Albert reigned as King of the Belgians from 1993 to 2013.
