India is considered to be one of Liechtenstein’s most important growth markets. Thus, deepening the economic relations and exploring new opportunities were a central theme during meetings. The Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) between the EFTA states and India went into effect on 1 October 2025.
In addition to political and economic meetings, the program also included an exchange with the Indian Red Cross Society. As President of the Liechtenstein Red Cross, Hereditary Princess Sophie visited the Indian sister society and learned firsthand about its work.
