Royal Court’s website under construction after King’s death

The website royalcourt.no is temporarily unavailable while appropriate changes are made.

When people try to access the site, they are now taken to a memorial page of the late monarch with a message about his death and the site.

A photo of King Harald accompanies the message, “It is with deep grief that we announce that His Majesty King Harald has passed away. King Harald died peacefully at Oslo University Hospital Rikshospitalet Friday 28 August at 6:35 AM.”

Below the announcement is written, “The website royalcourt.no is temporarily unavailable while appropriate changes are made.”

It is unknown how long the website will be down.

King Harald’s son, Haakon, is now the King of Norway.
