Crown Princess Victoria was celebrated in Sweden on her 49th birthday in typical fashion.
The Crown Princess’s birthday, Victoriadagen (Victoria Day), is marked each year on 14 July, beginning at Solliden Palace and ending at the Borgholm Castle ruins.
In the morning, the heir to the throne greeted guests in the palace’s garden alongside King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar. The King also led the crowd in three cheers for his eldest child. The Borgholm Cultural School children’s choir also performed.

Later, the rest of the Royal Family gathered for a family portrait outside Solliden Palace. Young Prince Julian was seen with a cast on his arm after suffering a small break while playing. The King, Queen, Crown Princess Family, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill then went to enjoy the Victoriadagen Concert.
Victoria and her husband, Daniel, and their two children, Estelle and Oscar, rode in a horse-drawn carriage to the castle ruins. The rest of the Swedish Royal Family arrived by car.

Those at the concert were entertained by The Ark, Petra Marklund, Toussaint Chiza, Fanny Avonne and Mira Ray. The Crown Princess then handed out the annual Victoria Prize to a Swedish athlete who has represented Sweden well on the international stage. This year’s prize went to cross-country skier Frida Karlsson following her success at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
