The Danish royal house shared pictures of the trip to Greenland, and the King shared a few personal thoughts.
He wrote, “I can never get enough of Greenland… Spent a few days this week on a sledging trip with the Sirius Patrol. After a stopover in Mestersvig, where we had a quick table football game, we started out at Hvalrosodden, made our way past Aalborg Hus and ended up in Daneborg, from where the first sledging team set out 75 years ago. Since then, over 500 skilled Sirius people have patrolled the rugged and beautiful national park. Each and every one has my deepest respect. Thank you to Sirius for the opportunity to once again feel the rush of nature’s incomparable forces.”
