Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh celebrate athletes at Winter Paralympic Games

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh have celebrated the athletes at the Winter Paralympic Games in Italy.

The Duke and Duchess attended a National Paralympic Community Event hosted by Paralympics GB, spending time with staff and supporters. They also cheered on athletes during various events.

On March 10, the Duke’s birthday, he and his wife, Sophie, visited team Canada at the athletes’ village.

Afterwards, they went back to Paralympics GB and visited their performance lodge at the athletes’ village.

The Duke of Edinburgh has served as patron of the British Paralympic Association since 2003.
