Princess Alexandra is set to become a great-grandmother for the first time.

Princess Alexandra’s granddaughter, Flora Vesterberg, has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Timothy. The pair have been married since 2020.

The baby will be the first grandchild for James and Julia Ogilvy. The child will be 62nd in the line of succession to the British throne.

Vesterberg took to her Instagram account to announce the happy news and shared a new photo of her and her husband, taken by her father, James.

“Delighted to share that Timothy and I are expecting our first child. We’re truly over the moon,” she wrote.

Princess Alexandra is a cousin of King Charles III and a working royal, although she does not undertake many engagements due to her advancing age. She is the first cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
