Danish royal children make gingerbread house

The children of King Frederik and Queen Mary made a gingerbread house together at Amalienborg Palace.

Crown Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine joined forces to make gingerbread houses at the palace.

Christian and Vincent worked on one cookie house, while Isabella and Josephine made another. As with many making gingerbread houses, there was some frustration, with many relating to Prince Vincent’s sigh of irritation while working on the cake.

Dubbed a sibling challenge, the duos worked on their houses with a divider between them on a social media video. Crown Prince Christian and Prince Vincent struggled to put the house together, and in the end, pulled a completed one from under the table in an attempt to trick their sisters.

Princesses Isabella and Jospehine did not fall for it, and Isabella told her brothers, “You didn’t make that one!”

Christian eventually pulled out the broken cookie on a baking sheet, saying, “You haven’t seen anything – I’ll take it out myself. This is what Vincent and I managed in the first five minutes… until we gave up.”

Isabella then shouted, “What?” while Josephine laughed at the prank.
