Danish royals decorate Christmas tree

The Danish Royal Family has decorated the Christmas tree at Amalienborg Palace.

The Royal Court released images and a video of King Frederik, Queen Mary, Crown Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine spending time together decorating their tree.

The family moment took place over the past week ahead of the First Advent.

Isabella was seen dancing with her father, while Josephine and Christian were on ladders hanging ornaments. Images showed ornaments with the royals’ names written in cursive, ready to be hung on the tree.

Sadly, one red ornament was seen broken on the floor.

The tree is the centre focus of the Great Hall of Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg.
