Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie distribute meals

Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg helped to distribute meals at the “Vollekskichen” social restaurant in Bonnevoie.

They were joined by Minister Max Hahn and the Alderwoman of the City of Luxembourg, Corinne Cahen.

A complete and affordable menu is offered in a friendly setting to promote social ties and include those who are isolated or who normally cannot afford a meal out. The restaurant is an initiative of the National Committee for Social Defense (CNDS).

The staff of the restaurant is partly composed of former prisoners and young people in pre-delinquency situations. The restaurant helps to provide a stable background.
