Luxembourg’s festivities marking the new reign concluded with a Te Deum service attended by the Grand Ducal Family.

Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie were joined by other members of the Grand Ducal Family at Notre Dame Cathedral for a Te Deum to celebrate Guillaume’s accession to the throne.

Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa were on hand to attend, as were their sons, Prince Louis, and his two sons, Princes Gabriel and Noah, and Prince Felix, his wife, Princess Claire and two of their children, Princess Amalia and Prince Liam.

His Eminence Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich led the service in front of around 1,000 people.

The Te Deum concluded the three-day celebrations for the abdication of Grand Duke Henri and accession of Grand Duke Guillaume.

Grand Duke Henri abdicated in favour of his eldest child on Friday, 3 October.
