Queen Silvia of Sweden has attended the Senior Citizens’ Day on Ekerö.
The Senior Citizens’ Day is celebrated on Ekerö annually since 1998 and was initiated by Queen Silvia. It first took place at Drottningholm Park, but is now celebrated in Ekebyhov Palace Park.
Participants were treated to a picnic during which they were able to meet Queen and talk with Queen Silvia.
Singer Erik Linder provided some musical entertainment, and the day ended as everyone sang the national anthem together.
