Albert II, Prince of Monaco joined the 7th Summit of the European Political Community held in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The event brought together heads of state and government from Europe, as well as leaders of European institutions.
Prince Albert took part in a round table entitled “Economic Security and Reducing European Dependencies,” where he emphasised the importance of multilateralism for all states. He also stressed the need to reduce external dependencies in the energy, technology, and defence sectors.

He also took part in the round table dedicated to the creation of a European coalition against drugs. This project was launched at the May 2025 Summit in Tirana at the initiative of France and Italy. It is intended to strengthen cooperation between states and European institutions to combat drug trafficking and illicit financial flows.
Prince Albert held bilateral meetings with the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Head of Government of Andorra, Xavier Espot Zamora.
He was welcomed to the Amalienborg Palace for the Summit participant by King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark the day before the Summit.
