King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands have presented a new family member.
The new addition to the family is a black Labrador pup called Jagger. He joins white toy poodle Mambo, who joined the family in 2021.
Mambo has been part of many of the family’s official photo calls, where he usually steals the limelight. We can expect to see more of Jagger soon.

According to Princess Amalia, Mambo officially belongs to the Queen. However, Jagger has been introduced as belonging to both the King and Queen.
Jagger is not the first Labrador in the royal family. Skipper unfortunately passed away during the COVID lockdown, and Nala died a few months ago. Luna is still around but makes a few public appearances. Luna and Nala are pictured below in a photo from 2017.
