The funeral for Sweden’s Princess Désirée was held on 19 February at the Royal Chapel in the Royal Palace.
The private ceremony was held for King Carl Gustaf’s older sister almost a month after her death on 21 January.
Following the Princess’s wishes, the funeral was only for family and invited guests. No media was allowed to air the service. The Royal Court later released images from before the service, taken by the royal photographer.
