Crown Princess Victoria took to the skies to learn more about the operations of the Swedish Air Force.

To continue her military training, the Crown Princess studied with the Air Force to learn about their role in the nation’s defence.

The training took place in the autumn of 2025, and the Royal Court and the Swedish Armed Forces shared images from this fall, including the selfie Victoria took while flying.

She received in-depth training from the Air Combat School, which provided her with insight into how the Air Force operates.

The Royal Court explained that it “spanned the entire air domain and included history, air and space power, operational planning, leadership, air base concepts, air defence, future studies, innovation and development.”

The Crown Princess trained at the Air Defence Regiment in Halmstad, the Air Combat School’s experimental office, the Air Force’s Air Simulation Centre, and Norrbotten’s F-21 air fleet. She also visited the Swedish Space Corporation and Esrange.
