Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden has accepted a new patronage.

The Crown Princess has agreed to be the patron of Parasport Sweden.

The patronage was announced on 3 December when the heir to the Swedish throne attended the “Cheer Up Special Day” conference in Stockholm.

The organisation consists of the activities of the Swedish Parasport Association, the Swedish Paralympic Committee and Special Olympics Sweden.

Crown Princess Victoria has long been an advocate for those with disabilities and regularly attends the Paralympics to support the athletes and meets with them to show support. Most recently, she attended the Paralympics in Paris 2024 with her mother, Queen Silvia, and daughter, Princess Estelle.
