Queen Camilla has attended the 97th Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey.

The Queen is Patron of the Poppy Factory, which organises the event, and she went to pay her respects to those who have lost their lives in war. She planted a Cross of Remembrance and observed the two-minute silence.

She also met with service personnel, veterans and their families during the event.

The Field of Remembrance has plots where former servicemen and women, as well as members of the public, can plant a cross carrying a personal message in memory of those who lost their lives.
