The Princess of Wales and US First Lady Melania Trump spent time with children at Frogmore Gardens on the last day of the US State Visit to the UK.

King Charles and Queen Camilla said goodbye to President Donald Trump and the First Lady at Windsor Castle on Thursday morning.

While the President travelled to meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the First Lady joined the Queen at Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and Royal Library. She then joined the Princess of Wales at Frogmore Gardens at Frogmore House.

Catherine and Melania joined a group of Squirrels from the Scout Association in the garden for activities like drawing, crafts and bouncing balls on a large parachute.

The four to six-year-old Scouts were making “bug hotels” when the Princess and First Lady arrived, and both began interacting with the children.

While the Princess of Wales helped children draw, the First Lady was seen with a child drawing in her lap.

The ladies also helped present the “Go Wild!” scouting badges to the young Scouts.

Later, the young children ate sandwiches at a picnic that included honey made by the Princess of Wales from her hives at Amner Hall. Each child was also gifted a jar of honey from the White House.

The visit was historic as no other US president has been invited on two state visits to the United Kingdom.
