The Duchess of Sussex has shared her hope for her daughter, Princess Lilibet.
In an interview with Town and Country magazine, the Duchess shared that she hopes the young princess will become an activist.
Meghan revealed the insight while the magazine highlighted teen girls who founded the charity Altadena after the devastating California wildfires in January 2025.
Avery Colvert, 15, founded the organisation, and Lula Seifert, Journey Christine, and Laurel Kleeger-Read serve as volunteers for the charity that supports teenage girls who lost their homes in the fires.
The Duchess praised Colvert during the interview and said, “You never thought your work would grow to be this big. And even if it hadn’t, it still would have been meaningful and made an impact.
“My goodness, if our daughter turns out to be anything like you, I’ll be the proudest mom.”
For her part, Colvert said, “I feel so lucky and grateful that this has been successful. My goal for Altadena Girls is that every girl who walks in feels inspired. I want to create a new generation of women who feel confident that they can do anything.”
Meghan has volunteered with the organisation, while she and Prince Harry also donated to Altadena through their foundation, Archewell.
