The British royals have bragging rights over their Spanish counterparts after England defeated Spain in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Final.

The Prince of Wales and his daughter, Princess Charlotte, travelled to Switzerland to watch the English Lionesses battle Spain on the pitch. They were joined at the match by Spain’s Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofía in Basel’s St. Jakob-Park.

After speaking to the media, the royals were able to chat before the game kicked off.

England came out victorious, defeating Spain 3-1 in a penalty shootout. The Lionesses were able to defend their title after winning the final three years ago.

While Prince William and Princess Charlotte celebrated with the English team, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía consoled the Spanish team in the locker room.

Kensington Palace also shared a photo of the father-daughter duo watching the English celebrations.
