Prince Sverre Magnus talks about living in Lisbon

Prince Sverre Magnus of Norway has revealed his thoughts about living in Portugal for university.

The Prince, who is the son of King Haakon and Queen Mette-Marit, is studying at Forward College, focusing on a Bachelor of Business Management.

Talking to Nettavisen, Sverre Magnus opened up about living in Lisbon and living in student housing.

He is enjoying his time in Portgual so far, telling the outlet, “It’s a lot of fun, nice people, and I’ve already gotten to know many of them.”

“I’m looking forward to living abroad; it will be a lot of fun. Although it’s a bit sad not to live in Norway, the weather is better here than in Norway,” he added.

Like many other young adults, he confessed that he’s happy to be living alone and getting to cook with his new friends.

Prince Sverre Magnus will study in Lisbon for the first year before moving to Paris and Berlin for the following two years. Infanta Sofía of Spain enrolled at the same university in 2025, studying politics and international relations. The Infanta is now in year two, studying in the French capital.
