The Duchess of Edinburgh has taken on a new patronage.
Her new patronage is Visualise Scotland. Established in 1987, Visualise Scotland is a charity which is providing high-quality care services to people with disabilities in Edinburgh and East Lothian. The organisation has expanded over the years from the visually impaired to people with a range of disabilities.
The patronage reflects The Duchess’s longstanding commitment to people with physical, social and visual disabilities.
Pauline Gray, the CEO of Visualise Scotland, said, “We are honoured and proud that The Duchess has agreed to be our Royal Patron supporting our mission to deliver outstanding services to people with disabilities through housing support, supported living and a range of day services.”
