Princess Sirindhorn to make royal visit to China

Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand, the younger sister of King Vajiralongkorn, will make a royal visit to China from 4 April to 11 April.

Princess Sirindhorn’s visit will take her to various places of interest and institutions. This will include the Origin Quantum Computing Technology (Hefei) Company Limited, the State Key Laboratory of Precision and Intelligent Chemistry of University of Science and Technology of China (East Campus), the Hefei Unitary Quantum Technology Company Limited, the Hainan Museum, the Beijing Archaeological Site Museum-Dabaotai Western Han Tombs, the Beijing Normal University, the Temple of Agriculture, the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology of Tsinghua University (Changping Campus).

The Princess will witness a rocket launch at Wenchang Aerospace Observation Centre, before receiving the Global Development Research and Practice Award at Peking University (Xinyanyuan Campus). At the same university, she will attend the launch of the textbook series “Thai Loves Learning Chinese.”

She will have audiences with Mr. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and Ms. Xian Hui, Vice-Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, at Diaoyutai State Guest House.
