The Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte thrilled viewers with a surprising piano duet during the Together at Christmas Carol Service.
The mother-daughter duo opened the service with Erland Cooper’s Holm Sound at Windsor Castle’s Inner Hall.
The Princess of Wales performed with her left hand, while young Charlotte used her right hand.
As the pair performed, a voice-over by Catherine was heard with footage of people arriving for the carol service. The Princess spoke of acts of care and how they contribute to “the beautiful tapestry of life to which we all belong.”
“Christmas is a time that reminds us of how deeply our lives are woven together.”
The Princess of Wales performed at the 2021 carol service alongside singer-songwriter Tom Walker.
The service aired as part of Royal Carols: Together At Christmas, a special programme airing on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve with a repeat showing on Christmas Day morning.
