The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales has a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Kensington Palace announced that the Royal Foundation has welcomed Sarah Rose as its new Chief Executive, effective February 2026.

Rose has decades of experience in media and public broadcasting, and she has led Channel 5 and Paramount’s business in the United Kingdom since February 2024.

In a statement, she said: “I am honoured to be joining The Royal Foundation and am excited by the ambition it has for the future.  I’m incredibly proud to have spent 30 years in public service broadcasting, and I now look forward to working with Their Royal Highnesses and the team at the Foundation to support the vital work they do to tackle some of society’s most urgent challenges.”

The announcement comes as the current Chief Executive of The Royal Foundation, Amanda Berry CBE, was appointed to the role of Global Partnerships Ambassador. Berry will support the development and delivery of the philanthropic initiatives of Their Royal Highnesses.

About the new appointments, William and Catherine said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Sarah to The Royal Foundation and to working with her on some of the issues which are closest to our hearts. We are hugely grateful to Amanda for her exceptional leadership over the past three years and are pleased she will continue to work with us in her new role as Global Partnerships Ambassador.”

The Royal Foundation’s Chair, Simon Patterson, said: “I am delighted to welcome Sarah to The Royal Foundation. She has a wealth of leadership experience, both commercial and public service, and embodies the Foundation’s core values of optimism and creativity.  She will be ideally placed to help the Foundation deliver lasting change.

I would also like to take this opportunity to offer Amanda Berry our sincere thanks for her excellent leadership over the past three years. I look forward to continuing to work with her in her new role, building on the many successes she achieved during her tenure as CEO.”
