Luxembourg’s Grand Duchess Adelaide Tiara was created circa 1870 for Grand Duchess Adelheid-Marie, the wife of Grand Duke Adolphe.
The tiara consists of a leaf design dotted with diamond berries. It normally holds a large sapphire, which can also be swapped for an aquamarine, as can be seen in the featured image.
The tiara was a great favourite of many of Luxembourg’s royal ladies.

It has been worn by every Grand Duchess in Luxembourg, but it is not restricted to just them.
Princess Marie Gabrielle of Nassau, a granddaughter of Grand Duke Jean, wore the tiara at her 2017 wedding to Antonius Willms.
Princess Claire has worn it during the 2018 National Day celebrations.
