The Prince and Princess of Wales spent October 14 in Northern Ireland, where they visited sites in County Tyrone and County Armagh.
They began the day in Cookstown. At the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service’s Learning and Development Centre, they met with staff and trainees. The facility includes a simulated village and a floodwater rescue training area. During the visit, they observed exercises and took part in a water rescue simulation.

Their final stop was Long Meadow Cider in County Armagh. The business is family-run and produces cider from its own orchard. The couple joined in apple picking and viewed the cider-making process. They also met with staff during the visit.
