Albert II, Prince of Monaco, has renewed his effigy on the 1 and 2 euro coins.
The coins will bear the date 2025, and the effigy has been renewed to mark the 20th anniversary of his reign. The coins will be put into circulation in Monaco at the end of October.

The new portrait shows Prince Albert facing forward, accompanied by his crowned monogram and the argent and gules tapering of the Grimaldi coat of arms.
