King Carl Gustaf in Malaysia for the Scouts

King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden has been in Malaysia for the Baden-Powell Fellows Scout meeting.

The King, who is Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation, was in Kuala Lumpur for the 77th edition of the meeting that focuses on empowering the youth through the Scouts.

His Majesty also attended a board meeting for the World Scout Foundation, as well as a seminar and the closing dinner for Baden-Powell Fellows.

King Carl Gustaf was joined by other Baden-Powell Fellows to visit the Scout projects Scouts Go Solar and Dialogue for Peace.

The King was later presented with a traditional royal headdress made of songket cloth by Dato’ Mohd Zin Bidin, Chairman of the Malaysian Scout Movement.

Over 200 people participated in the Baden-Powell Fellows meeting in Malaysia that lasted from October 23–25.
